This one’s for the true safari aficionado – a trip which combines the three most popular areas of Zambia, one of Africa’s finest safari destinations. Beginning at the famous Victoria Falls with a stay right next door to the mighty force of nature, the focus switches to the South Luangwa National Park – amongst the region’s first game reserves but still one of its most impressive. Connect with onward flight to Livingstone and on arrival transfer to stay for three nights at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort. The property’s architecture was inspired by the timeless African tradition, with the hotel having the feel of a walled city, centuries old. The air-conditioned guest rooms are low-slung, open and airy, and each one spills out onto a cool landscaped pool area. The central reception area houses a high quality buffet restaurant, a swimming pool & pool bar and a lively alfresco grill and entertainment area. This is also the nearest hotel to the Victoria Falls, which are just five minutes walk away.

After breakfast transfer by light aircraft to the South Luangwa National Park to stay for three nights on safari at Flatdogs Camp. Flatdogs Camp accommodates guests in Meru-style safari tents with facilities which include a main area with restaurant, an airy open-plan bar as well a swimming pool. The South Luangwa offers a unique safari experience and provides year round access; wildlife activities include game drives in open vehicles, walking safaris and night drives. The quality of guiding at Flatdogs Camp is of very high standard and the park offers a diversity of mammals and over 400 bird species; the South Luangwa is an experience not to be missed.
This morning transfer by light aircraft to the Lower Zambezi to spend the final three nights at Baines River Camp. This safari camp enjoys an enviable location in the Lower Zambezi valley and offers the ultimate combination of colonial luxury and game viewing. There are just eight beautifully designed suites, and the camp also plays host to two lounges, two dining areas (outdoor and indoor), and a bar which opens up to the swimming pool. When not enjoying the luxurious surrounds, guests can spend their days on safari in this game-rich area – on escorted game drives, bush walks, boat excursions, canoeing trips and fishing outings.
Return by light aircraft to Lusaka and fly to Johannesburg to depart on your overnight flight to London Heathrow.
