Depart London Heathrow on your scheduled flight to Nairobi.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Ole Sereni where you overnight. Your evening will be at leisure to relax. Bordering a National Game Park, the Ole Sereni combines the features of a city hotel and a game lodge, close to the airport and yet offering great game viewing of animals as they come down to the waterhole – which can be viewed from the restaurants, bar, swimming pool and other areas of the hotel. A great taster of what is to come.
This morning after an early breakfast you transfer to the airport for your light aircraft flight down to the Masai Mara. There you will be collected and transferred to Governors’ Camp where you spend the next three nights.
Originally built for the exclusive use of Kenya’s colonial governors, this is one of the country’s oldest and most authentic safari lodges which combines old-style charm with 21st-century creature comforts in the heart of East Africa’s prime wildlife area.
The luxury en-suite tents, each with a private veranda, are set along the Mara River, with game drives in the Masai Mara National Park offered at sunrise, late morning and in the afternoon - for one of the greatest natural shows on earth.
After a morning’s game drive and breakfast, you transfer back to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Amboseli. There you will be collected and transferred to Tortilis Camp where you spend the next three nights. An award-winning eco resort, with unrivalled views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and a vast elephant population. Nestled in an acacia grove, this camp provides accommodation in spacious rustic tents, all sited on a raised deck with a large verandah, king-size beds and an elegant ensuite bathroom – all set against a backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. At Tortilis, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful range of activities, including game drives, guided walks, cultural visits and if it all gets too much, you can also book yourself in for a relaxing massage in the spa.
After your morning game drive and breakfast you transfer back to the Amboseli Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi Wilson. There you will be collected and transferred to the Ole Sereni Hotel where you will have a day room. In the middle of the afternoon you will be transferred to Nairobi International Airport for the late afternoon scheduled flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, you transfer to Breezes Beach Club where you spend the next five nights. An award-winning resort located on a seemingly endless white sandy beach provides total relaxation in spectacular surroundings. Family-owned and run, it offers both comfort and luxury. Accommodation is in a selection of rooms and suites all simply but elegantly decorated in shades of ivory and stone, with traditional wood carvings and hand-crafted furniture. The restaurants make full use of fresh local seafood and indigenous spices, and there is a full range of water sports available.
After enjoying the majority of the day at leisure you will be collected and transferred back to Zanzibar Airport for the late afternoon flight to Nairobi. There you will have a short layover before catching your scheduled overnight flight back to London Heathrow.
