The little brother of Ongava Lodge, there are just three luxurious suites here, making it a wonderful property for a family to book exclusively for the safari of a lifetime. The views from the private plunge pools over the surrounding plains are some of the finest anywhere in Namibia.
The main lodge is made from stone, thatch and canvas and contains a cosy lounge area with an enormous stone fireplace as well as the dining area. Both rooms lead onto the deck overlooking the camp's waterhole that regularly attracts all kinds of animals as well as providing what seems to be never-ending vistas of the Namibian landscape.
Meals at Little Ongava are taken under thatch in the cosy lounge and dining area or out on the deck under the African night sky while you watch animals come to drink at the floodlit waterhole.
Each incredibly spacious thatched suite has a large bedroom and a separate lounge area, both with floor to ceiling glass doors that lead onto a private deck with its own plunge pool and a sala - ideal for watching passing animals and for keeping an eye on the teeming waterhole. The stylish en-suite bathroom also offers incredible views, particularly from the bathtub and outdoor shower, while for an afternoon of privacy and seclusion, you could relax in your own private plunge pool and watch game from your veranda.
