Zambia is probably one of our favourite countries in Africa. Located in the southern half of the continent, it is one of Africa's wildest and unspoilt destinations, offering an authentic safari filled with unforgettable animal encounters and unique experiences.  It is also home to the world famous Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the natural world. 1. Try A Walking Safari

4. See The Kasanka Bat Migration

Between October and December each year, around 10 million straw coloured fruit bats descend into a tiny patch of evergreen swamp forest inside Kasanka National Park, Northern Zambia. This natural phenomenon, unique only to Kasanka is one of the world’s best kept secrets and lends itself to some truly astonishing birdlife sightings set against a backdrop of incredible scenic surrounds and dramatic skies.

A sunset cruise on the Zambezi has been described as one of the most romantic experiences in the world. 6. Experience The World’s Second Largest Wildebeest Migration 

The Liuwa Plains wildebeest migration in Zambia is one of Africa’s great natural phenomena. It’s second in enormity only to the Masai Mara–Serengeti trek, and yet it’s hardly known. Each year, 45,000 wildebeest seek fresh grazing in the remote, sublime Liuwa Plains. Viewing these vast herds on the move during a Zambia safari is an unforgettable sight.

7. Explore Kafue National Park’s Untamed Wilderness

At 5.5 million acres, Kafue is one of the largest National Parks in Africa.
