When to visit Table Bay Hotel

Although Cape Town is an excellent holiday destination year-round, the best time of year to visit will vary depending on the purpose of your stay. The city's dry, summer months of late January to late April are best suited for a city break, whereas temperatures peak between December and February so taking in the glorious sun on one of Cape Town's beaches is advised.

Our Thoughts

One of The Waterfront’s first, and still amongst the best, hotels. It benefits from being sited in the quiet part of the harbour, and the service is always first class, on a first-name term basis. The beautiful colonial bar is one of the city’s most atmospheric and the buffet breakfast is unrivalled – try the freshly baked ham.

A long driveway sweeps from the main gates to the hotel entrance. At the towering Porte Cochère, cars are valet parked as guests make their way into the lobby by way of an intricate glass walkway which pierces the stone breakwater wall inaugurated by Queen Victoria’s son Prince Alfred in 1869.
