Live out the adventure of a lifetime as close to nature as you can get in the relaxing solitude of the African wilderness. Comfortable tents with ensuite bathrooms at secluded campsites in the game-rich wilderness of Chobe National Park offer up close and personal encounters with Botswana’s wildlife.
Carefully positioned as close as possible to the resident game, enjoy the simplicity of our mobile tents at private campsites in one of the top wilderness areas in the world. Evidence of vast herds of wildlife wandering the African bush, well-used animal trails meander between the tents. The camp moves to a different site every five or six days, ensuring that game drives constantly explore fresh areas.
Replicating the very successful formula which &Beyond operates in the Serengeti National Park, this luxury mobile camp moves every few days in search of the game. This brings with it the advantage of guests being able to experience more than one environment and being able to get off-the-beaten-track in Chobe, which at certain times of year can be difficult.
Chobe Under Canvas provides all the creature comforts necessary to enjoy a comfortable bush experience. Relax in the communal area between game drives or enjoy delicious sundowner drinks served by your personal butler.
Chobe Under Canvas serves delicious Pan-African cuisine which can be enjoyed in the communal dining area or al fresco under the African night sky. For that wilderness feel, the friendly kitchen team also offer lovely candle-lit bush dinners away from camp - an traditional dining experience not to be missed!
Chobe Under Canvas has 6 canvas tents, each with a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The tents have battery-powered lamps and you can expect to start your morning with a warm, refreshing outdoor bucket shower.
Children aged 8 years and above are welcome.
