The ultimate private luxury hideaway is the younger sister of the award-winning Azura Benguerra.
There are just nine beach-front villas all designed and decorated in the same Afro-chic style; cool and cosmopolitan in a singular island setting. Some are perfect for sunrise, others face the dramatic sunsets, but all have private decks and butler service. Guests also have a plethora of land and water-based activities to choose from.
The northern sister of Benguerra’s Azura, it was previously a private island retreat accessible to no-one, but now it can be rented by the room to the wise traveller. Guests can choose between staying in the sunrise or the sunset villas, with the astronomy lectures on offer fascinating.
Guests are spoilt with Azura’s trademark Mozambican Butler/Host service, and dining experiences range from unique and special venues and set ups. For wine connoisseurs, Azura has a wine cellar stocked with fine wines, including bottles flown in from Azura’s own Chateau in France’s Loire Valley.
