For a luxurious, Eastern Cape safari experience, look no further than Bayethe Tented Lodge. This tented paradise offers guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in utter tranquillity, surrounded by the rich vegetation of this unique location that provides privacy and a feeling of seclusion with spectacular views of the African bush.
Accommodation is in a total of 12 large tents, split between Bayethe Hills & Bayethe Luxury, all nestling under trees along a riverbank. Each has its own ensuite bathroom, fireplace, viewing deck with hammock and private plunge pool. The activities available include game drives and walks, with massages also available for the weary.
As Bayethe Lodge is located in a malaria-free area, there is no need for you to pack any preventative tablets or syrup, other than your prescription medication.
Luxurious tented accommodation in a malaria free environment. Hidden bonuses here are that the internet tends to work well, and the relaxation retreat is definitely worth a visit.
Dining is split between the main dining room of the lodge and al fresco options out in the bush, trying to give guests plenty of variety of meals and location throughout their stay.
All of the rooms here are Luxury Tented Rooms, with a thatch roof and canvas sides. They are generously sized with their own private decking areas and plunge pools.
Owing to the fact this is a tented camp, children under 16 are not accommodated at Bayethe – families should book into Riverdene Lodge, the family friendly option at Shamwari.
