Camp Xakanaxa enjoys a prime position in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, located by the permanent waters of the Xakanaxa lagoon and the Khwai River allowing guests to enjoy year round boat safaris. Game drives are also taken among the varied habitat of the reserve which is home to large numbers of Africa's big game including buffaloes, elephants, hippos, cheetahs and lions amongst many others.
The camp is a classic tented affair with 12 tents that are raised on wooden platforms with views over the water providing an authentic under canvas experience. Local timber and thatch have been used to create the camp's main buildings which house a lounge, dining room and bar while guests can cool off in either the swimming pool or smaller plunge pool.
Camp Xakanaxa has much to offer - a wonderful location, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, classic safari tents and access to some great game viewing.

The 12 tents provide a luxury under canvas safari experience with comfy loungers on your private deck from which to enjoy the views over the Khwai River.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome at the camp but there are no family tents.
