In the heart of the soaring Drakensberg Mountains, Cathedral Peak offers a wonderful base for families, walkers and those simply looking to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. From the hotel you will be able to enjoy views up to the jagged peaks of the Drakensberg where guided walks are offered on a daily basis with the experienced walking guides. The rooms are nice and spacious, very comfortable and a welcome sight after a long day exploring the area. The restaurant area offers meals throughout the day, and there is a small pub and games room to guests entertained in the evenings.
Combining stunning views and a wealth of activities, Cathedral Peak is perfect for those looking for an active few days in the Drakensberg. The friendly atmosphere of the lodge combines with comfortable accommodation to make this a great base for exploring.
All meals are served buffet style in the main restaurant, offering a variety of dishes that will vary throughout your stay. There is also a separate dining room for families with younger children. There is an onsite pub and cocktail lounge for an after dinner drink.
The resort is made up of Standard, Superior and Executive Rooms as well as the Presidential Suites. All rooms are spacious, with the better rooms types being more spacious and offering increasingly glorious views of the Drakensberg. The Presidential Suite comes with it’s own golf buggy.
A paradise for families with a wealth of activities on offer, suited to all ages. There is even a dedicated children’s dining room so families can dine early should they wish.
