Situated in the southern part of the Madikwe Game Reserve on the border with Botswana, Jamala Madikwe is located away from other lodges and the private nature of the lodge is enhanced by the fact that they have no more than ten guests at any one time.
The five free-standing villas are luxurious with elegant spaces complete with a private plunge pool and dining area. The main lodge overlooks a waterhole that attracts a lot of wildlife allowing guests to enjoy game viewing on a "sofa safari". The lodge is owner run and prides itself on its superb personal service and exceptional dining experience.

Jamala is more of an adult environment and does not accept children under 16 unless the lodge is booked on exclusive use basis.
