A luxury hideaway on the Botswana border comprised of just 10 suites, all glass-fronted, providing guests with great views of the bush and wilderness, and all with a sun deck and plunge pool.
The Madikwe Game Reserve is home to over 65 species of mammal and more than 300 species of bird, but best of all it’s malaria-free. Extra privacy is available at Little Madikwe, a private camp with two suites and its own staff, butler, ranger and safari vehicle. It also has a large swimming pool and can be added to with two extra suites to make an ideal lodge for eight friends or a family.
Possibly the best lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve. The suites are glass-fronted and each has a private sun deck and plunge pool. There is also Little Madikwe, which has just two suites and comes with its own staff, butler and safari guide – making it ideal for a family safari.
There is plenty of option where to dine when it comes to Madikwe Hills, and there’s plenty of option for cuisine. Head Chef Izanne creates a menu inspired by their African heritage as well as an international influence. And teamed with impeccable skills to turn simple dishes into an artful masterpiece, you’ll be excited about every meal.
Madikwe hosts ten beautiful suites. All glass fronted with showcases the stunning views to the horizon. Not that you’d need it being here, but that view really does help you to get up in the morning, and with your own sun deck and plunge pool it’s the perfect spot for your morning coffee.
For something more private or if there is a larger group of you then we would suggest Little Madikwe. The main lodge does not cater for under 10 years of age, so it’s perfect for young families, or if you wanted something for secluded in your larger group.
Madikwe Hills is the perfect place for families. It hosts a ‘kids club’ called Junior Rangers, they are given a work booklet called ‘funwork’ for them to complete during their stay. For accommodation, staying at Little Madikwe is much more suited to young families as the main lodge does not cater for children under the age of 10.
Activities that the Junior Rangers can get involved with are:
