Whether you are relaxing on your private veranda or in the open sided lounge and bar, the location of Nsolo on the banks of the Lewi River makes for a superb location for your time in the South Luangwa. With just 4 bush chalets, you will be assured of a private, intimate safari experience, with your time spent on walking safaris for which the South Luangwa is so well known. Nsolo's location is unique as it sits at the border of a number of different prides of lion's territory - making for some fascinating sightings and comings together in the river bed. It is also one of the best locations in the South Luangwa to see African WIld Dog.
A wonderful small camp with rustic bush camp feel to it. The location overlooking the Luwi River, with it's high density of predators makes for extraordinary game viewing. Wild Dog have been denning near Nsolo for the last 6 years, so a stay here means a great chance of seeing these beuatiful, critically endangered animals.
Superb food in beautiful surroundings is the order of the day at Nsolo. Meals are served either in the main dining area or, if weather permits, out in the bush under the stars.
The 4 bush chalets here are lovely and spacious, with open air ensuite bathrooms and set up on raised decks. The reed and thatch walls mean they blend in beautifully with the surroundings and the private verandas offer wonderful views down across the bush to the Luwi River.
Children aged 12 and over are accepted and can participate in all activities.
