Located adjacent to the eastern edge of Etosha National Park Onguma has a huge 34,000 hectare reserve of its own where many different species of antelope can be found with lion and black rhino also present. Each of the five lodges and camps has a waterhole so wildlife is never far away.
The accommodation ranges from luxury tents to more rustic rooms and traditionally styled lodges. The Fort is a unique lodge with the main building sporting massive walls, antique wooden doors, a tower with views into Etosha and African and Moroccan touches. Tented Camp is chic and intimate and ideal for those looking for a luxury under canvas experience. Tree Top Camp is raised on stilts overlooking a waterhole and is the smallest of the properties with just four canvas and thatch rooms. The classically styled Bush Camp is the best option for families as the camp is fenced and has a swimming pool, small games room and family bedrooms. Etosha Aoba has traditionally styled thatched bungalows, swimming pool and a wine cellar.
Onguma affords easy access to Etosha National Park for self drivers and for guided game drives while night drives, afternoon sundowner drives and bush walks on Onguma's land are also possible.

All the lodges and camps have a lounge, dining area, active waterhole and swimming pool (except Tree Top Camp) and Bush Camp also has a small children's games room.
With European and African influences, dining at Onguma is delicious and varied.
Onguma offers five accommodation options:
At The Fort the 12 suites are spaced far apart for privacy and feature inside and outside showers and sun loungers on a wooden deck. The Sultan Suite is in the tower of the main building and features a lounge and TV.
Tented Camp is sleek and modern with a colour palette inspired by the hues of the surrounding bush. The seven luxury tents are elegant, romantic and private.
Tree Top Camp is small and intimate with just four thatched rooms, raised on stilts and with canvas walls and outside showers.
Bush Camp has a total of 19 rooms including family units sleeping four, rooms overlooking the waterhole or pool and rooms with a loft area for children.
Etosha Aoba Lodge has various types of room including free standing, air conditioned Heritage Bungalows, two bedroomed Bush Suites, secluded Explorer Bungalows and Honeymoon Bungalow with a double hammock and outdoor shower and bath.
Game drives in Etosha National Park and on Onguma's reserve, night drives, bush walks, rhino research drives.
When it comes to putting up the family we would opt for the Bush Camp. With a games room, swimming pool, large rooms as well as a kids loft, it’s somewhere that will please everyone. It consists of 8 twin bedded standard rooms which includes 3 rooms with a children’s sleep area in the loft, 6 twin bedded Waterhole/Pool-View Rooms, 3 family units with 4 beds, 1 Settler’s Room, as well as 2 single tour guide rooms.
