With the comfort and luxury of a permanent camp, but the authentic feeling of a mobile one, Sango provides a wonderful base for those looking for a more traditional safari experience. The tents are spacious, with simple, comfortable furnishings and small decking areas looking out to the bush. The proximity of both the Khwai and Moremi Rivers means that the game viewing is fantastic, with excellent predator sightings and varied birdlife. The open sided tented dining area and fire pit are the focus of the camp in the evenings, where delicious meals are served as you listen to the sounds of the bush around you.
A wonderful blend of the rustic and the luxurious, Sango perfectly combines the feel of a mobile camping safari with the luxuries associated with a permanent lodge. One of the few lodges in Botswana that allows for a genuine cultural experience with local villagers, this is a fantastic option for those looking to enjoy activities beyond their game viewing.
There is a central, open sided, tented dining area where all meals are served. Delicious breakfasts and light lunches are enjoyed during the day, whilst post game drive drinks are enjoyed around the fire before dinner is served. If the weather permits then meals will be served under the stars.
Sango is made up of 6 simple, yet comfortably furnished tents, with the feel of a mobile safari camp. There is a small decking area in front of the rooms where you can relax during the day and enjoy watching the animals that often pass by the camp.
Yes, but there are better options in the region for families.
