A luxury resort hotel surrounded by landscaped gardens, cascading waterfalls, a calming lake and a great pool which comes complete with its own sun deck and sandy beach.
Accommodation is in a selection of elegantly furnished and appointed rooms and suites, including family rooms, and there is a varied choice of bars and restaurants. Sports play a large part in any stay here, for as well as the two golf courses, there are also squash and tennis courts as well as a comprehensive children’s programme.
Cascades enjoys a great location for those keen to make use of the water park, golf courses, and Kamp Kwena adventure playground. Sun City can easily be reached by self-drive from Johannesburg, but with guests having little use for a vehicle once there, most choose instead to be transferred to the resort.
The are two fantastic restaurants at Hotel Cascades. The Peninsula is the perfect spot to start your day, and they serve up a great buffet breakfast. Once the sun sets, take your seat at the Santorini Restaurant. Overlooking the pool it’s a peaceful place to indulge in some traditional Mediterranean food.
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, gentle stream and an incredible mixture of indigenous trees, flowering plants and colourful birds, it’s the perfect location to wake up to. Rooms are tastefully decorated with a timeless elegance and understated luxury. It’s the ideal haven to escape too.
Sun City Cascades is a great pit stop in South Africa for the whole family. With specific family rooms and suites, a games arcade, baby sitting facilities, man-made lagoon and night club for 13-17 year olds.
