Situated on a private concession within the Victoria Falls National Park and bounded by the Masuwe River and the Zambezi gorges, The Elephant Camp has breathtaking views across the bush towards the spray from the Victoria Falls as well as the spectacular gorges which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia. The town and the falls are only a ten minute drive away so after enjoying some of the many activities in the area you can easily retreat to the tranquil and luxurious surroundings of the camp.
The newly opened Elephant Camp West offers a great location for large families or a group of friends to stay at their 'own camp' with four luxury tented suites and private facilities.
Slightly away from the bustle of the Falls, which can get noisy from the constant buzzing of helicopters, Elephant Camp offers calm and tranquil surroundings. The tented rooms are very well-appointed, but the big attraction is undoubtedly the Interaction Programme with the lodge’s own elephant herd, available exclusively to guests.
The main complex with a spacious deck, lounge, bar and dining area is a tented structure leading onto a sun-kissed pool offering sweeping vistas of the Batoka Gorge and the magnificent spray of the Victoria Falls.
The Elephant Camp’s suites display their own unique elegance, with a picturesque view spilling before them. Each tent adorns a spacious deck, a private plunge pool and an outside shower, all of which are ideal locations for relaxation and appreciation of the surrounding landscape.
Even the bath offers an unparalleled view of the horizon. The rooms have been deliberately sculpted to celebrate the openness of the African bush, and there is an easy flow from the bathroom to bedroom to private lounging area that spreads onto the spacious deck through glass French doors.
The stylish furnishing and décor has been specifically selected to capture the beauty of the natural environment, retaining the authenticity of the African wilderness..
The Elephant Camp offers close interaction with wildlife – in particular elephant at the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary.
All guests staying at The Elephant Camp will have an opportunity to meet the Wild Horizons elephants.
All other activities on offer in Victoria Falls area are available at an additional cost. Selected Spa Treatments available in the privacy of your suite
Children over the age of 7 are most welcome at The Elephant Camp. Children under the age of 7 on request only. Children should be under supervision of their parents or a guardian at all times
