Enjoy a true African bush experience in this five-star lodge, located adjacent to the Kruger National Park and renowned for its accommodation and true African bush experience.
Particularly welcoming for families, each of its 20 spacious suites has its own private deck from which guests can enjoy some of the wildlife, which is in abundance here with nearly 150 species of mammals, 34 species of amphibians, and over 500 species of bird.
The mother ship of the Thornybush collection of lodges, where couples, families, groups and even single travellers are all welcomed. Keep your fingers crossed that a ‘runway dinner’ is arranged during your stay – when the airstrip is transformed by candles and gas-lights into a remarkable and memorable dining experience.
Fine cuisine is one of the highlights at Thornybush Game Lodge: high quality ingredients, delicious recipes and an evocative atmosphere will give travellers an unrivalled dining experience. Meals can be savoured on private decks, in the elegant dining room or in the outdoor boma.
Highly comfortable, elegantly furnished and luxuriously decorated, rooms at Thornybush Game Lodge are the perfect retreat for those looking for a top-level accommodation for their Safari holidays. All 20 suites have a wonderful sight over savannah landscapes and they all boast large windows, private deck, outdoor shower and en-suite bathroom.
Kids all of ages are welcome, although only those aged 6 and over are permitted on Game drives and people over 16 are permitted on Game walks.
