This wonderful itinerary combines two of Zambia’s most iconic regions, the stunning Victoria Falls and game rich South Luangwa National Park as well as some time to relax on the shores of beautiful Lake Malawi. Depart London Heathrow on your overnight flight to Johannesburg.
On arrival into Johannesburg connect with your onward flight to Livingstone, where you will be met and transferred to stay for three nights at the Anantara Royal Livingstone Hotel. Stretching along the banks of the Zambezi River, this hotel consists of a series of colonial-style buildings with deep verandas, set amidst indigenous trees and plants. The main hotel is a sequence of thatch-roofed buildings and incorporates the lounge, restaurant and bar. The swimming pool visually links the river with the terraces of the hotel, with a sweeping timber deck in the swirling waters of the Zambezi. The entrance to the Falls is just a short scenic stroll away.
This morning after breakfast transfer to Livingstone airport for your flight to Mfuwe, where you will be met and transferred to stay for three nights in the South Luangwa National Park at Nkwali Lodge. Located on the banks of the Luangwa on a magnificent meander in the river overlooking the National Park, Nkwali offers understated elegance, seclusion and superb service. From here you will be able to enjoy game drives and guided walks through this stunning national park, enjoying the fantastic game viewing, especially the elusive Leopard.
This morning after breakfast transfer to Mfuwe airport for your charter flight to Lilongwe, where you will be met and transferred to stay for four nights on the shores of Lake Malawi at the stunning Pumulnai Lodge. Hidden away amongst trees and creeping out from the rocks, the lodge is a design dream with every villa having glorious views across the lake. Each of the ten villas is uniquely designed, with some incorporating the rocks that rush from the ground, and others incorporating the foliage growing around them. All have huge terraces, verandahs or decks plus spacious living, sleeping and bathing quarters. From here you will be able to relax, enjoy the beachfront location and a range of activities on offer
Transfer to Lilongwe and fly to Johannesburg to depart on your overnight flight to London Heathrow.
