Morning arrival and connecting flight to Lusaka. Fly by light aircraft to Mfuwe and transfer to Luangwa Safari House for a three night stay on full board basis with local drinks, game drives with a private guide, private chef and manager included.
One of Africa’s great private safari houses, Luangwa Safari House is situated on the edge of the famous South Luangwa National Park overlooking a lagoon where families of elephants regularly come to bathe. This four bedroom thatched Zambian villa was built amongst ancient leadwood trees and has been constructed using locally sourced materials. Between game drives in your own private vehicle, relax in the comfortable lounge area, or cool off in the swimming pool.
Transfer to Mfuwe for your light aircraft flight to Lower Zambezi. Stay for four nights at Chongwe River House on full board basis with local drinks, game drives, walks, boat trips and canoeing, a private guide, chef and manager included.
Chongwe River House stands on the banks of the magical Chongwe River, close to the Zambezi, and boasts sensational views of the dramatic mountainous escarpment beyond. The property sleeps eight in four spacious ensuite bedrooms, making it an ideal safari base for a family or a group of friends wanting a private safari. Many animals come to the Chongwe River to drink and from the deck the game viewing can be as good as any safari activity. The property comes fully staffed with a guide, house manager and private chef – all of whom will tailor your private safari.
