Ant’s Hill, sister property to Ant’s Nest is built on the edge of a cliff and offers breath-taking views across the Waterberg. Everything here is geared around the views, from the heated swimming pool, set in boulders on the edge of the cliff, to the main lodge, whose large verandah and deck overhang the gorge, perfect for early morning breakfasts and evening sundowners. On top of all of this, Ant’s Hill overlooks a waterhole frequented by a variety of game.
Blending into the bush, this thatched lodge offers spacious rooms and vast folding doors with each cottage uniquely designed with exotic furniture and brightly coloured African fabrics. The spectacular individual bathrooms offer sunken baths and waterfall showers and the spacious verandahs come equipped with comfortable day beds to relax on in the heat of the day.
A great family option with a wide range of activities and spacious rooms, a great fit for multi-generational travel. Horse riding, bush walks, cycling and night sky safaris are all on offer here.
Like at Ant's Nest, the dining at Ant's Hill is a fusion of home cooking and fine dining, carefully prepared using the best fresh produce available.
The dining experience here includes an incredible number of dining rooms; lunch out in the bush, dinner around a fire in the boma or next to the pool, breakfast on the deck or under a tree in the garden. Everyone can eat together in a relaxed atmosphere, and should you prefer something more romantic, private dinners can be arranged.
