The Landscapes
Botswana is a land of contrasts from the vast Kalahari Desert and salt pans of the Makgadikgadi to the rich oasis of the Okavango Delta. The Delta is a pristine paradise of channels, lagoons and islands teeming with big game, rare species and dazzling birdlife. In stark contrast, the Kalahari and the Makgadikgadi salt pans offer magnificent solitude, surreal lunar landscapes, desert-adapted wildlife and the opportunity to spend time with the San people - ‘the Bushmen of the Kalahari’. Here you can witness the little-known migration of wildebeest and Zebra’s, and quad bike across the endless pans & get up close and personal with meerkats. Further to the north, enormous herds of elephant can be found in the Chobe National Park and the Moremi. The Linyanti Reserve abound with predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.



The Wildlife
