Chobe Safari Lodge is located in Kasane, on the border of the Chobe National Park, making it a superb starting point for your journey through Botswana. In addition to the traditional game drives, there are many other activities to enjoy, including river cruises, fishing, scenic flights and day trips to the nearby Victoria Falls. The lodge is quite large, meaning there is always a friendly, buzzing atmosphere throughout the day, especially when guests have returned from their activities. The main restaurant is the hub of evening activities, with a superb buffet menu served daily. After dinner guests can retire to one of the two intimate bars to enjoy a nightcap, or head back to the comfortable rooms to rest up before another day exploring this fantastic part of Botswana.
Although it is relatively large at 46 rooms, Chobe Safari Lodge's location in Kasane means it is a fantastic base for enjoying a huge range of activities including game drives into the park. With river boat cruises, fishing trips and easy access to Victoria Falls for a day trip it really offers something for everyone and is a great starting point for a Botswana adventure.
The majority of meals are served buffet style in the main restaurant, with themes varying throughout the stay. There is also the opportunity to enjoy an evening river cruise and dinner along the Chobe River - a wonderful experience and one not to be missed.
Guests are accommodated in either the River or Safari Rooms, with some 8 Rondavels also available for the local market. 22 River Rooms (including 2 Bedroom family rooms) are attached to the main part of the lodge and have their own garden area. All rooms here have their own patio or balcony. The 46 Safari Rooms are the newest addition here and are and are very comfortable, with Satellite TV and bathrooms with bath and shower. They command lovely views out over the lawns towards the Chobe River.
A very good option for families, with 2 bedroom family units available. The wealth of activities make this a particularly good choice of accommodation.
