Depart London Heathrow on your scheduled day-time flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Palacina Hotel Nairobi where you overnight. This morning, after an early breakfast you transfer to the airport for your scheduled light aircraft flight to the world famous Masai Mara. On arrival you will be collected from the airstrip and transferred to the elegant Cottars 1920’s Safari Camp where you spend the next three nights. For an Out of Africa experience, right in the heart of Kenya, this traditional camp is where to come. As its name implies, it conjures up a bygone era and all the romance of African safaris. On the border of the Masai Mara with the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves, it preserves its authenticity as it has been run by the same family for over 100 years. Your family tent is ideally located for privacy and is simply exquisite, with ensuite bathrooms and separate living room. During your stay at Cottars, you enjoy day and night game drives in the game-rich Masai Mara Game Reserve as well as game walks, fishing and cultural visits with the Masai community all geared towards family enjoyment.
This morning you fly to the coastal town of Mombasa, where you will be met from the airstrip and transferred to Kinondo Kwetu where you spend the next five nights. Accommodating no more than 38 guests, Kinondo Kwetu prides itself on being a home away from home. This luxury boutique property also boasts a plethora of activities for the whole family to enjoy including snorkelling, sailing, kayaking, deep sea fishing, horse-riding and skateboarding to name but a few. Spend your time here doing as little or as much as you like and you can also take advantage of the in-house spa facilities for complete relaxation, or partake in a yoga class.
Return to Ukunda airstrip today, arriving in time for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you connect with your scheduled overnight flight to London Heathrow.
