Tanzania is home to some of the most breath-taking sights, monumental history and interesting animals in Africa, it’s truly a destination that has something for everyone. When travelling as a family, extra planning is often involved and it’s important to go to a resort that caters to each member of your family’s needs, child or parent. We’ve put together a short list of our recommendations for the most family-friendly accommodation on your trip to Tanzania.
Sanctuary Swala, Tarangire National Park

The tents are luxurious structures with inside and outdoor shower facilities available. Despite being named tents, the accommodation is nothing short of lavish with modern bathrooms and stylish and comfortable lounge areas.
Relaxation is assured with the privacy of the accommodation allowing the whole family plenty of space and time to take in the beautiful wildlife in their surroundings.
Game trails make for a great activity for the family to enjoy together, with an infinity pool also overlooking a watering hole, providing another opportunity for up close encounters with the game throughout Tarangire National Park.
