For those looking to explore different areas of Zimbabwe, this is the itinerary for you. Amalinda Lodge is an African inspired refuge, where world-class facilities combine with the spiritual energy, allure and unique beauty, for which the Matobo Hills is so celebrated. Khulu Bush Camp, offers guests luxurious and private accommodation accompanied with old world hospitality. Ilala Lodge provides a great base from which to visit the Victoria Falls, while the Zambezi River itself invites exploration by inflatable canoe or motorised launch.

Depart London Heathrow on an overnight flight on British Airways to Johannesburg.
Morning arrival and connecting flight to Bulawayo where you will be met and taken to Amalinda Lodge for a three night stay on full board basis with local drinks and game drives included. National park fees to be paid locally. Nestled among the granite domes of the Matopos Hills is Amalinda Lodge, a peaceful retreat that is very much a part of the environment. The nine thatched rooms and suites combine luxury with the natural environment incorporating the rocks into the structure of the rooms. The main lodge areas enjoy panoramic views of the hills and guests can relax in the cosy library, choose a wine from the cave wine cellar or take a swim in the pool overlooking a waterhole. The lodge also offers spa treatments for those wishing to include a little pampering with their game viewing and sight seeing experience in the Motopos.
Today you will transfer by road to Hwange National Park for a three night stay at Khulu Bush Camp on full board basis with local drinks, park fees and game activities (game drives and walks) included. Set within a private concession adjacent to Hwange National Park, Khulu Bush Camp is the smaller, smarter sister of Ivory Lodge. Perfect for couples, this intimate lodge has just six rooms and the waterhole and ancient riverbed in front of camp allow close up views of a steady procession of game including the herds of elephant that Hwange is so famous for. Watch out for elephants drinking from the pool!
Today you will travel by road to Victoria Falls for three night stay on bed & breakfast basis at the Ilala Lodge. The location is everything at this hotel - the Victoria Falls are just a 10-minute walk away and the shops and restaurants of the town are on your doorstep. The lobby and main guest areas have a colonial flavour with antiques and pictures of explorers while the rooms have a more modern style. Sitting on the terrace at award-winning The Palm Restaurant, dining on gourmet cuisine and watching the spray from the falls is one of the many pleasures of staying at Ilala Lodge.
Today you will travel by light aircraft to the Mana Pools National Park to stay for three nights on full board basis, with activities included, at Zambezi Expeditions.
This is a semi-permanent tented camp, operating from May to October, which offers space for just twelve lucky guests. Set right on the banks of the Zambezi, the tents are all en-suite and the wonderful activities in this game-rich area include safaris by 4x4 safari vehicle, on foot and by canoe.
You will be taken to the airport for the flight to Harare and the onward flight to Johannesburg. Connect with your overnight British Airways flight to London Heathrow.
