With stunning views out to the Zambezi River and Escarpment, Potato Bush is a wonderful option for those looking to explore the Lower Zambezi National Park.
The camp is nestled under a grove of trees, providing a dramatic setting and shaded place to relax in the heat of the day, as well as a wonderful place to enjoy the sumptuous cuisine prepared by the chefs. The whole camp is raised on a wooden deck and walkway, with the canvas tents leading off from the main part of the lodge. They are spacious and comfortable, with the 2 bedroom family tent being a very popular option. The game viewing in private vehicles from here is excellent, with great predator sightings all enjoyed with the backdrop of the mighty Zambezi River and escarpment. As always, the guiding is superb, with the guides really engaging you in everything you see and making for a wonderful safari experience.
Not to be overshadowed by it's sister camp Sausage Tree, Potato Bush is a superb camp in it's own right and makes for a fantastic experience. The game viewing in private vehicles from here is excellent, with great predator sightings all enjoyed with the backdrop of the mighty Zambezi River and escarpment.
Taking the lead from Sausage Tree, Potato Bush offers a superb variety of food, served in various locations throughout the camp making for a wonderful all round safari experience.
The tented rooms at Potato Bush are set up on hardwood decks, raised slightly off the ground. They are spacious and comfortable, with large bathrooms and stunning views out into the park. In addition to the 3 standard tents there is a 2 bedroom family tent which is very popular.
Families are very welcome at Potato Bush and the 2 bedroom family suite is a great option.
