Sausage Tree Camp is one of Zambia's leading lodges and offers food to match, with modern, "African Fusion" cuisine being the order of the day. Meals are served in a variety of locations, with crisp white linens, candles at night with surprise bush dinners often arranged.
Sausage Tree Camp has some of the most luxurious rooms anywhere in Africa. Each of the seven Luxury Suites consists of a lounge area, bedroom, indoor bathroom with open air shower, sliding doors leading out onto a large deck complete with lounge area and private plunge pool. Kigelia House also offers an excellent option for small groups and families, with two en-suite bedrooms separated by an open plan living area leading onto the private deck and pool.
Children are accepted from 8 years and older, however, given the elegant nature of the camp, there are better options in the area for families.
